Head of Administration and Operations

Administration and operations

With a number of specialist areas, these teams are members day-to-day point of contact, including:

Contact and Customer Manager
Contact and customer service team
The contact and customer service team is the first point of contact for all members and over 700 employers in the fund. From answering questions and guiding members through important pension choices, to managing transfers, estimates, and online services, the team ensures everyone gets the support they need.
Deferred and Pre-Retirement Manager
Deferred and pre-retirement team
The deferred and pre-retirement team supports members who leave the fund. They help them understand their options including explaining refunds, transfers and what happens when you defer your benefits. The team also handles sensitive cases like divorce and bereavement, working closely with families, employers and advisers to ensure clear, timely and compassionate communication.
Retirements Manager
Retirements Team
The retirements team ensures members receive their benefits promptly and smoothly. Working closely with employers and members, the team provides a personal, professional service guiding individuals through the transition into retirement.
Pensioner and Payroll Manager
Pensioner and payroll team
The pensioner and payroll team supports members who are already receiving their pension – ensuring payments are accurate, timely, and well-managed. They handle sensitive tasks like bereavement and are responsible for paying over 43,000 pensioners each month.
